It was due to happen at some stage, but the first Radeon HD 4870 X2 pricing information has made its way online thanks to an online reseller in the Czech Republic who has listed a Sapphire card as xxailable for pre-order.

This is a 2GB card, so its top of the range and according to the website, the GPU will be clocked at 750MHz with the memory at 3.6GHz. It doesnt look like were in for any surprises with this first generation card as it looks very much like a pair of HD 4870s stuck onto the same PCB.
